Bar Coding

HBS Enterprise Software automatically recognizes bar code scanner input in Parts Inventory, POS Invoicing,  and Units/Wholegoods. You can eliminate keying errors and spend parts counter transactions by using bar code scanners.

Use the optional HBS bar code label printer to create labels for parts without OEM labels. Individual labels can be created at any time or you can create labels for an entire order during the order receipt process. The labels are extra tough, UV resistant to last a long time. Labels can also be created for the parts bin. Units/Wholegoods Inventory can also be bar coded for identification purposes and even works for invoicing. Label printers are available with serial or network interfaces.

Bar code scanners are available with PS/2 keyboard and USB connections as well as a Bluetooth Wireless Model.

Create a Label

Special HBS software allows you to create your own label for products without a label. You can even associate multiple barcodes with a single part number.
