One of the most common observations we hear from our system users is the availability of robust system reports. Having been in the dealership environment for many years, we have built a comprehensive suite of management and departmental reports to help measure your established performance goals. Occasionally though, you may need a report in a slightly different format or perhaps you would like to sort your information in a certain way. For those special cases, we have developed the Report Writer application.

Custom Reports at Your Fingertips

The Report Writer application was designed to allow the quick and easy creation of ad hoc reports. The report writer works on a page layout basis, where you can select the data you need by fields within the database. By using totals, sub totals and other mathematical features, it's easy to group information as needed to meet your specific requirements. While we provide full training on the Report Writer application, our system support specialists are also available to help you create any custom reports you may need to manage your dealership.

Design, Save and Reprint Favorite Reports

Once a report has been created, it's easy to store it for fast retrieval in the future. It becomes part of a menu of user-defined reports grouped by the primary application group used to build the information. This makes it easy to incorporate it into your daily routines.

A newly enhanced version of the NetView Report Writer, scheduled for release in the very near future, will simplify the process required to access multiple database files to create a single report. Multiple database support means that you can create even more powerful, detailed reports using information stored throughout the NetView system across separate databases. By incorporating predefined database relationships, the process of creating custom reports has been greatly simplified.
