The Purchase Order application centralizes the tracking and management of purchase authorizations across all departments within your dealership. It also manages the process across multiple locations, eliminating the need to manage multiple purchase order tracking systems.

Eliminate Overlooked Vendor Charges

Nothing is more frustrating (and costly) than closing out a repair order, settling with the customer, then receiving an invoice from a sublet vendor for work that was done on the unit. In most cases, it's too late to go back to your customer and even if you can, it's embarrassing to do so. Even worse, it can have a negative impact on your relationship. On Repair Orders, the Purchase Order application displays a warning on the specific condition line to prevent overlooked costs that need to be collected from your customer.

Easily Maintain Status of Purchase Orders

Choose from a Purchase Order Status summary or click to display detailed information about the PO. The application tracks the Quantity Ordered, Quantity Received, and the Quantity Backordered so partially filled orders can remain open under the original Purchase Order number. It also provides the ability to quickly receive all of the items on the purchase order which can save time on lengthy purchase listings.

Attach Photos, Videos, Invoices, Diagrams, or Handwritten Notes to Any Purchase Order

In addition to two comment lines for each Purchase Order, HBS eDocs allows reference material to be attached at the purchase order level. These can be copies of handwritten notes, photos, videos, vendor invoices, or any other file you want to make available to system users.
