C.O.I.N. Parts Cross-Over Database

It happens every day.  A customer walks into your dealership with a part from another manufacturer and he leaves empty handed because you couldn't find an interchangeable part to sell him. We have the answer....COIN.  COIN, which stands for Cross Over Information Network, is an online interchange reference database for Bearings, Belts, Filters, Seals, Batteries and more. It contains data from more than 3,500 manufacturer's and provides millions of cross-references and interchangeable part numbers. COIN is available exclusively from HBS Systems.

Interchange Part Numbers for Bearings, Belts, Filters, Seals, Batteries and More

HBS System has developed COIN over the past 20 years to provide the most comprehensive online part number exchange reference available in the industry. It is fully integrated with the HBS Dealership Management System to provide instant access to interchange information.

Multiple Ways to Search for Interchangeable Parts

Depending on the type of part, there are multiple ways to search for interchange information within COIN. Search by Part Number, Partial Part Number or dimensions. This makes locating an interchangeable part fast and easy.

Fully Integrated with the HBS Dealership Management System

COIN is accessible from any point within the HBS Dealership Management System. When lookups are performed from within the Parts or Service applications, the crossover results include a display of on-hand quantities for easy identification and cross-sale. With a single keystroke, the interchange information can instantly be imported directly into the open ticket without the need to re-key the information.

Prioritize Search Results by Manufacturer Lines Represented

COIN provides the ability to sort interchange results in dealer-defined order. Most dealers choose to display results starting with their primary manufacturer lines. This brings those part numbers to the top of the interchange search results making it fast and easy to sell a compatible part to the customer.

Standalone Microsoft Windows Version Available for PC's

COIN is also available as a Microsoft Windows application for use on a PC. The same data and functionality is available in the Windows format but it operates in a standalone mode and is not integrated with the HBS Dealership Management System. This is a great option for remote or mobile PC users who need access to parts interchange information.

  • Fully integrated with HBS Dealership Management System
  • Available as standalone Windows application for non-HBS system users
  • Contains millions of cross-reference and interchangeable part numbers
  • Information from more than 3,500 manufacturers included in the product
