"Working to Make Things Better for You"

This is our corporate motto, but more importantly, it is our promise to you. When you choose HBS as your technology partner, we promise to continually provide you with leading-edge computer system products and support services. Our Support Express Services covering both hardware and software provide a single source of support. This promise is backed by a strong track record of service and support in the Equipment Industry. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and the dealer/distributor organizations look to HBS for integrated Dealership Management Systems and Software.

The HBS Story

In the early days of computers, investing in a Dealership Management System required a large capital expenditure....capital dearly needed for daily operations. Few dealerships could justify the cost of installing an in-house computer system.

As computers rapidly evolved from room-sized mainframes to desktop systems, dealers could clearly operate more efficiently through automation. Unfortunately, software vendors serving the equipment industry continued to focus on large, expensive computer systems. HBS took a different approach. Our founders, veterans of the equipment industry, saw the need for affordable Equipment Dealership Management Systems. By using the latest programming languages and the newest hardware technology available, HBS introduced a new generation of systems to the industry. But, we didn't stop there.

HBS recognized that it's customers needed more than a computer system. This realization led to the establishment of a new standard in customer service and support.

Product Innovation

In addition to our highly acclaimed Complete Customer Satisfaction Program, HBS is recognized as the industry leader in product innovation.

For example, in late 1990, dealers and industry analysts expressed a need to improve the speed and accuracy of looking up parts information. Traditional parts catalogs and microfiche were too slow. HBS responded to this need and in early 1991, introduced the first electronic product catalog system in the Agricultural Industry.

Financial Strength

HBS Systems has planned from day one to be in business to serve its' customers for a long time. A key part of that is maintaining sufficient financial strength to support growth, and to maintain the best possible supply channels for our customers. HBS currently has a Dunn & Bradstreet 3A1 rating. HBS encourages you to examine the financial strength of any potential supplier. It is an integral part of a solid business decision.
